All about RPSLK.link
Ever play Rock, Paper, Scissors and think, "There's got to be more to life than this"? Enter RPSLK. Because why decide things the boring way when you can turn the stakes up a notch?
The original (and RPSLK) is perfect for deciding:
- ...making that crucial choice between tacos or sushi.
- ...choosing the playlist for the next road trip.
- ...debating whose turn it is to take out the trash.
But then it struck: "What if I could challenge, I don't know, billions of people to a game?" A fancier Rock, Paper, Scissors. But, you know, not too fancy. We're not wearing tuxedos here. And so RPSLK was born.
I came up with a few bullet points that I thought would be great guidelines for making RPSLK:
- It has to be made for internet-scale games where I could play a billion people
- It has to be quick to set up and play a game; no app to download
- It has to be personal and fun because we're beating each other, not a soulless AI
Plans for the future? Maybe an app, some tournaments, taunting videos, and who knows what else? But for now, we're just happy to have a place to play.
